This weekend class is designed to build and refine essential skills for practical rifle and shotgun shooting success. Over two days, you’ll gain hands-on experience in gear selection, shooting fundamentals, and core competition techniques tailored for SRA and IPSC events. With a blend of technical instruction and practical exercises, this course ensures you’re ready not only to compete but to keep advancing your skills beyond the class.
While the course focuses heavily on rifle shooting (approximately 80%), it also includes relevant shotgun instruction in areas like shooting on the move, stage planning, and shooting positions.
Instruction will be in English, with interpretation available as needed. Basic English proficiency will be sufficient to follow along comfortably.

Matt discovered his passion for practical shooting in 2016, starting with a local pistol match. In 2017, he took on his first 3-Gun event and knew he’d found his calling. Over the next two years, Matt dedicated himself to mastering all three weapon platforms—pistol, shotgun, and rifle—achieving podium finishes and victories at events across the United States. His precision and skill with rifles, in particular, have become his hallmark.
Professionally, Matt is a trainer for an electrical contractor in Pennsylvania, USA. His experience as an educator, combined with his competitive shooting expertise, enables him to provide clear, impactful instruction to shooters of all levels.
